MREC's multfamily portfolio is an example of the company's insightful strategy and experience in the multifamily real estate asset class. Since origination in 2009, the portfolio has grown geographically to include properties in five states and has included over 50 projects (totaling over 12,000 units). Through partnerships and acquisitions, MREC continues to build on it's solid, and expansive holdings.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Portfolio
Moriah Real Estate Company along with partner Capital Assets acquired 4 multifamily properties, consisting of 984 units, in Tulsa, OK. These well located properties were renovated in late 2009 and, upon acquiring management, were immediately turned over to Capital Assets.

Arkansas Portfolio
In 1Q, 2010 Moriah Real Estate Company acquired Flagstone Creek, a 120-unit apartment community in Bentonville, AR. In 2Q, 2011 MREC invested in another Bentonville property, Harbin Pointe, a 194-unit "Class A" multifamily project. In 2Q 2012 MREC acquired the Reserve at Steele Crossing, a 201-unit property located in Fayetteville, AR. In 2Q 2013, MREC acquired Mountain Ranch, a 360-unit property in Fayetteville, AR. Capital Assets manages each of the Arkansas multifamily projects.

Houston, Texas Portfolio
Moriah Real Estate Company in association with Ascension Commercial Real Estate purchased a 15 property multifamily portfolio totaling 4,520 units and 3,664,575 net rentable square feet in July 2011. The properties were built between 1968 and 1982 and shortly after the acquisition the portfolio, consisting of fourteen properties in Houston and one in Austin, was renovated and management was turned over to Ascension Property Management. The properties are well located in their respective submarkets and after the acquisition and new capital infusion, the assets have been significantly repositioned.

Dallas, Texas Portfolio
MREC, along with partner and manager Capital Assets, acquired the Windridge Apartments (720 units) in Grand Prarie, TX in 4Q, 2009. In 4Q, 2012 MREC, in association with Strategic Realty Capital (SRC) purchased the DFW 4 Portfolio, which includes four multifamily properties in Bedford, Dallas, Lake Highlands and Arlington. The strategy for the portfolio is to renovate and reposition.

Kyle, Texas Portfolio (Austin, TX Submarket)
Moriah Real Estate Company, in partnership with Ascension Commercial Real Estate purchased Vista Plum Creek (264 Units) in 2013 and in partnership with Cypressbrook Company developed Aria Plum Creek (180 Units) as well as Ariza Plum Creek (349 Units) for a total of 793 units within the Kyle, TX (Plum Creek) submarket of Austin, Texas.

Big 22 Portfolio
MREC, along with partner Strategic Realty Capital, acquired 4,275 units in secondary markets throughout Texas. Asset locations include Amarillo, Abilene, Temple, San Marcos, Fort Worth, Longview, Tyler, Texarkana, Shreveport, Beaumont, and Brownsville. The Lynd Company manages the portfolio.
