Moriah Real Estate Company, "MREC" provides a platform for its investors to leverage the experience and success of the principals as private equity investors and managers in commercial real estate. Together the principals have over eighty years of combined experience in owning and managing a real estate investment portfolio that includes office, industrial, multifamily, hotel, retail and ground-up development in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North & South Carolina, Louisiana, Colorado, Nevada, California, Michigan, Indiana, Florida and Illinois.

Known for creative deal making and problem solving, MREC is committed to the idea that the current economy provides a target rich environment for return driven investors. Our investment philosophy is to partner with proven local operating expertise to analyze and execute a strategy to moderate risk while preserving upside potential.

MREC and its affiliate, Moriah Realty Partners have acquired interests in 2.6 million square feet of office, 10,000+ multifamily, condominium and university housing units, 429 suburban hotel rooms, 2.5 million square feet of industrial warehouses, retail shopping centers, manufactured housing communities and approximately 200 acres of commercial and residential land for development. These properties are in markets including Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Reno, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Houston, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Midland, Frisco, Denton, Beaumont, Brownsville, Tyler, Texarkana, Longview, Temple, Abilene, Amarillo, Arlington, Southlake, and Lubbock, TX; as well as Destin, Seacrest Beach and Rosemary Beach, FL; Bentonville, Fayetteville AR; Shreveport, New Orleans, LA; Hilton Head, SC; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK.

Since March of 2009 the company has completed $1.02 billion in transactions. MREC has raised over $308 mm in new equity and obtained $706mm in financing for its project acquisitions and developments.
